Story Swap
The swap is a storyTeller's open stage

Begun in the early 1980s the Story Swap has provided a welcoming room from which to develop a new story, or a new skill. And for those who drive, it comes complete with free parking.

The Tea Party

The room is intimate, but the stories are as open as our imaginations.
The usual pattern is fifteen minutes of telling, then fiteen minutes of conversation, intermixed with moments of tea and scones.

Ruthanne Edwards organised the Tea Party tellings for a number of years. Now she has taken on a new role, developing and organising the Story Slams (for the audio interview visit the news and gossip page). Anne Nagy has now taken up the role of Tea Party organiser.
