Open Stage Compilation #1

Open Stage #1 CD coverUp to 12 performers have come to sing on the Open Stage each Wednesday night since 1982. Many a magical moment has slipped into memory, not hard drive but the rather more ephemeral gray matter. We decided to begin saving those moments. Over a three month period those performers who signed onto the project were recorded each time they went onto the stage. The 15 pieces on this CD were chosen from hundreds representing a spectrum of known and new voices, and instrumentalists. Recorded onto analog tape on a TEAC 144 portastudio, then mixed down onto a two track DAT for CD.

List of tracks (total time: 52:30):

  1. "Down In The Dust", Jay Willis, (3:33).
  2. "Drawing Down The Moon" (intro: "Dark Island"), Charlie Gardner, (5:39).
